Arround 1965, the well-known Bruges HERMAN family bought two adjacent 16th century houses in the Peerdenstraat in Bruges.
After thorough renovations and restorations, both buildings were transformed into
an extremely pleasant residence with two garages.
The typical Bruges stopped gables were preserved in view of its classification as
valuable patrimony by the Marcus Gerardus Foundation.
The specific nature of the house was preserved by the magnificent, old stone floor
and antique Flemisch furniture adds a rustic element to the modern comfort.
